WHO WE ARE
“Espaço Essências – Day SPA e Terapias” is a space where we develop activities and eastern and western therapies based on the three axes of the longevity and well-being triangle: CURE, RELAXATION AND REJUVENATION.
The name “Espaço Essências” stems from the search of the essence and balance of Life, Mind and Body, to achieve harmony, well-being and happiness.
We believe that most of the challenges and solutions may be overcome if we BELIEVE.
MISSION
To ensure the provision of preventive and curative health, rehabilitation and beauty services, appreciating the natural and holistic aspects, so that the customers achieve their overall well-being, through bio-physiological, energetic and psychological harmony;
To search for the convergence of the various types of knowledge, medicines and therapies of different continents, conventional ones or not, ancient and current ones, to find more efficient and harmonious life solutions;
To provide services with maximum Quality, Efficiency and Efficacy, by professionals and reliable multidisciplinary teams, aiming at achieving the full satisfaction of everyone’s specific needs;
To act in a socially responsible manner, supporting third sector social projects / IPSSs (Private Institutions of Social solidarity);
To partner with entities of the civil society to provide the service to a wide number of citizens.

To meaningfully participate in and contribute to the construction of a better society, where the fundamental values may be respected and people live happier. We wish to be recognised this way as better equipped to identify the individual needs regarding health and well-being.

TEAM
Our team comprises accredited and specialized professionals guided by ethics and professionalism, including SPA Therapists, Physiatrists, Physiotherapists and Alternative and Complementary Medicine technicians namely in the specialties of Nutrition, Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Naturopathy, among others.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
“Espaço Essências” is the 1st Socially Responsible SPA, in Portugal, governed by SA 8000 standard.
We were born within a non-profit and social utility institution, founded by various Social and Health experts.
We support two of the major social projects in Portugal, by means of a cooperation protocol signed with CERCI Lisboa and APPACDM of Lisbon, IPSSs with a fundamental role in the Education and Rehabilitation of Citizens with Intellectual Disability.
5% of the revenue of SPA Treatments of “Espaço Essências” are allocated to CERCI Lisboa and APPACDM of Lisbon.
